Version 2026-08-24 (closed beta)
BuroWise is a bureaucracy assistant that helps you draft calm, structured correspondence for routine consumer disputes — faulty goods, refused refunds, billing errors, and subscriptions that won't cancel.
BuroWise uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate correspondence drafts. When you use BuroWise, you are interacting with an AI system, not a person. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing any draft before deciding whether to send it.
BuroWise is not a law firm, does not employ lawyers as part of the service, and does not provide legal advice. Nothing it produces is a legal opinion or a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you tell BuroWise. BuroWise drafts from what you provide and does not fact-check your account. You are responsible for reviewing and approving every draft, for deciding whether to send it, and for any consequences of correspondence you choose to send.
Do not use BuroWise to harass, threaten, defraud, or knowingly make false claims against any person or business.
BuroWise is available to consumers based in the United Kingdom, European Union member states, and the United States. When you start a case and when you purchase credits, you confirm that your dispute falls within one of these locations.
BuroWise uses a case-credit model. One credit covers one complete case from start through to conclusion. A credit is consumed — permanently — at the moment you accept the first drafted message in a case. Before that point the credit is reserved but not consumed. After acceptance, the case remains open indefinitely at no further charge.
Unused credits (credits where no first draft has been accepted) are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Consumed credits are not refundable. EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal; by accepting a first draft you request that performance begins and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost for the corresponding consumed credit. See the Refund Policy for full details, including how to request a refund.
BuroWise does not guarantee that a dispute will be resolved, or that any refund, replacement, compensation, or other result will be obtained. Outcomes depend on the facts of your situation and factors outside our control.
You confirm that you have the right to share any document you upload or paste, and that doing so does not violate anyone else's rights. See the Privacy Policy for how your information is handled, stored, and retained.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of BuroWise, including any consequences of correspondence you send or any outcome of a dispute.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including under applicable consumer protection law in the UK, EU, or US.
We may update the service or these Terms. Where changes are material, we will present them to you at next sign-in for fresh acceptance. Continuing to use BuroWise after accepting updated Terms means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the UK, EU, or US, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country still apply and you may bring a claim in your local courts where those rules give you that right.
Questions about these Terms, refunds, or your account: support@theboat.dev. See also the Refund Policy.
Closed beta. Governing law above is an operating default and will be confirmed before a public launch. See Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
