BuroWise is available to consumers based in the United Kingdom, European Union member states, and the United States. When you start a case and when you purchase credits, you confirm that your dispute falls within one of these locations.
If you are outside these locations, please do not purchase credits. If you purchase and subsequently find that your case is outside scope, you may request a full refund of unused credits within 14 days — see section 3 below.
A case credit is consumed — permanently and irrevocably — at the moment you accept the first drafted message in a case. Before that point, the credit is reserved but not consumed. After acceptance, the case stays open indefinitely at no further charge and the credit cannot be reclaimed.
You are entitled to a refund of unused credits (credits where no first draft has been accepted) in any of the following situations:
Consumed credits are not refundable. The credit is used at the point of draft acceptance and represents completed drafting work.
EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 9). By accepting a first draft you are explicitly requesting that performance of the digital service begins for that case, and you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal for the corresponding consumed credit is lost at that point. Credits you have not yet consumed remain within the 14-day window.

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
Partial refunds are available where you have consumed some credits from a pack but not all — we will refund the unused portion.
We may update this policy. Where changes affect your rights materially, we will notify you at next sign-in. Purchases made before a policy change are subject to the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
